Failing with pandas < 2.0 has been returning the following for a while:

@ascillitoe the lower bound on Noting that the lower bounds are a bit arbitrary as we set mostly them to whatever the latest version was available when we first pulled in the dependency, but we don't run tests on non-recent versions of dependencies so it's very likely that these lower bounds are not particularly helpful. |
