Infinite Loop randomly triggered on Chrome

I've noticed something weird on Chrome.

Sometimes i run into an infinite loop (Browser Freezes). I cant tell though when exactly it happens. Seems to be random.

Using "Pause" when this happens i was able to narrow it down to this spot:

Note: I'm using "fallback" to work on Mobile

@masbaehr What is the structure of your HTML? Could you provide a minimal reproduction?

Unfortunatly it's not easy to create a minimal reproduction with only HTML. I'm using Vaadin Flow which is heavily using Shadow-DOMs. Maybe i could setup a test-server if it would help. I did a workaround by using a simple counter which exits the while after a few hundred iterations ;-). Maybe a simple rework of this without using while would help. It does not seem to have any side-effect
