@demiankatz, I had to look back at issue #30 to fully understand the update and what was done previously leading up to this PR. I tested using a sample manifest from the IIIF cookbook and checked the console for any CSP warnings. Everything looks good, no issues found. This update looks solid and is good to merge. Thank you.

This update should eliminate content security policy warnings related to the gallery component, thanks to @anthonyhashemi's work on IIIF-Commons/iiif-gallery-component#31.
