Question - GMEdit mobile app

I wonder if GMEdit would be able to run on iOS/ipadOS (and android)
For now I use the combo Textastic as the code editor and Working Copy to get access to github. It works well, but of course Textastic is a general code editor and shows everything in my project (.yy and .gml) without organisations at all.
And the syntax highlighting for gml is a very old version which doesn't have any of the new features since 2.3 XD

So I know that it is a really reeeaaaaally niche use case and certainly doesn't worth the time to be worked on (plus with all those Apple/google fees and stuff you need to afford) but I wanted to ask anyway if it could be something to look forward in the future XD

My stance on this is that I will accept PRs that make the web version of GMEdit work better on mobile, but generally this is a large amount of suffering for very little return given that you can't compile GM projects on mobile.

That's probably the best course of action, yeah.
I personnally don't care about compiling, but just been able to add / modify script, object etc on the go and that's true that the web version would suffice.

My 2 cents is that I also want to edit work on the go rather than compile code. I do wonder whether a text editor with GML Syntax rules running locally would be better but I totally get your point @YellowAfterlife.
I just tried to use the online version via browser (Samsung Internet) on my Android tablet and it very much broke and failed to do anything at all.
I am wondering though whether it's worth having some dedicated instructions for mobile users? Or is the user base too small to justify even that?
