What is the problem this request aims to solve?

Whenever you make a new release of an extention or resource you want to share, it's inconvenient to go back and double triple check, that names and descriptions match previous versions

How do you suggest we solve this problem?

All the last used values should be saved to the project, so you can easily, bump up the version for example when creating a new local package

Are there any alternative ways to solve this problem you want to suggest?

just open previous file, write it down somewhere separately, or have a good memory
