Please port to both branches. Currently, we are using 1.0.6 for M2 testing. The plan is to use 1.0.7 for the April release. |

eclipse-openj9/openj9#21403 is resolved by the same fix. It will be easier to re-enable it here instead of opening three more PRs. |

We only need 1.0.7 for jdk24 things. M2 (0.51) will not include jdk24. |
