March 2026 Release Status per Platform, Version & Binary Type

Sharing information in this issue since the TCK work is being tracked in temurin-compliance private repo not visible to the community (as per the OCTLA). Risks and expectations for timing on the release are listed in this issue comment. Primary platforms (x64 Linux/Windows/OSX and aarch64 Linux/OSX) in bold are prioritized, secondary platforms not in bold follow in no particular order (as machine resources are available). We retrospectively measure and track how well we do against these targets in these Adoptium Release Scorecards in order to continuously assess and improve.

✔️ results in these Tables means the activity has successfully completed.

⏳ results means that we are actively working on closing off the runs needed for this version, platform, binaryType.

⛔ means there is no build planned for that version/platform combination.

Status update: The Temurin Compliance (TC) project does not receive Early Access TCK materials under the agreement that the Eclipse Foundation has with Oracle. You can learn more about the special challenges for the TC project in this presentation. The implication is that the TC project does it's very first run of hundreds of thousands of tests after the GA tags for the feature release become available. When issues or failures are encountered, as was the case for JDK26, the committers within the TC project request that the Eclipse Foundation team communicates / sends questions to Oracle. The feedback loop is not necessarily speedy.

On the upside, there has been communications and response and the compliance pipelines are now launched with some updates to TCK material. I have updated the status to report that activity has now started.
