Error while updating or adding pins

Hello,

It seem that bug was introduced after revision 4d96187, where if attempting to update a git forgejo instance it fail with the following error message :

Failed to spawn nix-prefetch-git for GIT-URL @ revision

Have attempted to remove and add those repo again in case if it was something related to my lock file but it give a different error complaining about an HTTP 401. Probably related to the fact the url has two '/' after the domain name and this is probably not intended ?

The problemes seem to be happening to forgejo instance but not other pins source.

I noticed that nix-prefetch-git in my version of nixos-unstable doesn’t provide the nix-prefetch-git binary:

$ ls "$(nix build --no-link --print-out-paths nixpkgs#nix-prefetch-git)"/bin
nix-prefetch-git-26.05.20260208.d6c7193

This was caused by #487672 and fixed in #488336, the fix is available in all the unstable nixpkgs channels

Already using nixos-unstable revision a82ccc39b39b621151d6732718e3e250109076fa with is from 2 day ago and according to the tracker it should include the PR in question ? https://nixpk.gs/pr-tracker.html?pr=488336

Does include it yeah, I assume if you switch back to the latest npins it'll be fine then

Tested updating and it still add an additional slash to forgejo url after the domain name, is there something else that I am missing ?

That is a bug but also in the screenshot shown nix-module doesn't exist (it's nixos-module) , adding at least for git.lix.systems is otherwise fine
