Authorization link can not be clicked or copied (`/connect`)

Trying to link Claude account.

• Connected remotely via SSH - my client machine is Windows 11

This issue appears to be a duplicate of #10882: Zen API Link in Dialog (cli) for /connect is not clickable

Both report the same underlying problem: authorization links in the /connect dialog are not clickable in the TUI. While #10882 specifically mentions the Zen API provider, it appears the issue affects multiple providers including Claude authorization links.

Please check if the existing issue's discussion or fix addresses your case as well.

#10882 seems to mean "locally", in which case it's a different issue.

On my MX Linux + XFCE setup, authorization links are correctly opened by the preferred application, but they're not when OpenCode is running on a distant machine, probably because xdg-open on the distant machine can't open links.

Workaround for Anthropic : use shift key + select the URL to copy it, then paste it into your (local) browser.

Doesn't work for OpenAI, it seems the URL has to be opened on the same machine :

An error occurred during authorization.
Invalid state - potential CSRF attack

and it is not lynx-friendly.

I haven't figured out how to copy the url. Right clicking on the TUI deselects the URL. Doing ctrl+shift+c doesn't actually copy it like I would expect from a typical shell. Any advice here @G-Guillard ? When I hold shift while selecting it selects a whole mess of text that isn't the url.

Ok well took some time in a text editor to clean it up. Def not a slick experience, but hey at least it worked.

Just select the URL while pressing SHIFT, no need to right click anything, the selected text should be copied already. It might depend on the terminal emulator, though, IDK.

I am facing the same issue in opencode version 1.2.27. Using Ubuntu via WSL in windows 11, using Wezterm as terminal emulator.

I'm having the same issue (version 1.2.27), and when I use the Shift approach, it grabs some other text behind the dialog box. When I tried to use copy to clipboard in Ghostty, it only selected URL up to the query parameter marker, i.e. https://claude.ai/oauth/authorize; so none of the query parameters for actually telling Anthropic the challenge request.
