Bug Description
I’m on the Max 20x plan ($200/month) under techbantu@gmail.com, and I’m getting “API Error: Rate limit reached” on almost every message across brand-new conversations.
What’s confusing is the Usage page shows my Current session is barely used (I’ve seen 2% and 6% while this is happening). So I’m not hitting the 5-hour session meter, yet I’m still being blocked like I’m out of capacity. Logging out temporarily helps, then the throttling comes right back after a few messages.
Can you check whether my account is stuck in a degraded or misapplied throttling state (especially after the Feb 14 incident) and confirm my Max 20x entitlements are being applied correctly? If there’s a separate limiter I’m tripping (weekly, burst, per-model, or account-level), please tell me exactly which one and what the real thresholds are, because right now the UI says I have session headroom while the system says I’m rate-limited.
