Hey @IsThatLegal and everyone affected by this! I ran into the exact same
copy-paste nightmare and decided to build a quick fix while we wait for
Anthropic to resolve this.

The Problem (We've All Been There)

# What Claude Code gives us:
sudo launchctl unload
  /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.backupd-auto.plist && sudo
  launchctl load
/System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.backupd-auto.plist

# What we actually need:
sudo launchctl unload
/System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.backupd-auto.plist && sudo
launchctl load /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.backupd-auto.plist

The Solution: claude-fix CLI Tool

Install:
pip install git+https://github.com/freyjay/claude-code-command-fix.git

Use:
claude-fix "your broken command here"

What it does:
- ✅ Strips unwanted line breaks and spacing
- ✅ Preserves proper operator spacing (&&, |, ;)
- ✅ Auto-copies fixed command to clipboard
- ✅ Works on macOS (pbcopy) and Linux (xclip)
- ✅ Zero dependencies - pure Python stdlib

Quick Demo:

$ claude-fix "git add . &&
  git commit -m 'fix' &&
  git push"
