By the way, I'm agree with jonhoo's comment that this feature doesn't make sense and less secure.

I prefer to close this feature request and remove the comment inside sftp too.

Don't you want to change the blocked by label to waiting for? Now I can't see the waiting for label.

We don't use label to track issues like this, so I just removed the blocked by upstream label.

We use opendal in rustic (thank you very much for your great project!!) to support remote storage providers.

I wanted to mention that there are providers around which give an sftp access only to be used with a password. While I agree that adding this feature could introduce some insecurities, not having it implies for us that rustic users cannot use some storage providers. So I would really like to see it implemented, maybe gated by an extra feature?
