Errors about library subfolders

I'm not sure if somnething is misconfigured, but when importing my Emby shows library, there is always an error in the logs for each subfolder. In my case, an HD folder and a 4K folder:

[2025-11-02T08:33:26+00:00] ERROR: emby.import: Failed to parse 'Emby: main@underserved' item response. 'InvalidArgumentException' with 'Unexpected Content type [Folder] was received.' at '/src/Backends/Jellyfin/Action/Import.php:812'

It's not really a problem, because it's able to safely move past, but the log entries are there.

Is there something I should do, or should I just tell my OCD to ignore them? LOL

Hi,
this usually means you have:

• unmatched show or movie.
• you have empty folder in your media library.

The log should contain pointer to the item.

Those 2 folders contain all the show folders.

Ah i see, unfortunately nested folder currently is not supported.

It's something i want to support possibly in future release.

Correction,

We actually do support nested items, the error you are seeing is due to initial request encountering the folders which are not expected. The error will be fixed by next version. Fixed in e668e2c
