Auto doesn't work as Schedule resume like in official cloud integration

Auto Mode is not really Auto like in Resume Schedules: When this HVAC mode is selected will set temperature to last set temperature... Tado official cloud will see this as manual change. it's more like resume to last manual target temp after switching Off. better to change this in description - this is a limitation of homekit. maybe in the future, along with battery status and other cloud features this resume schedule worth being added like proper Auto mode. apart from this: fantastic work! well done and TY!

Hey, I had the same issue as you mentioned, using -1 turned the heating off and when it goes back on it would go to the previous temp instead of the current temp in the schedule.

I've found a solution that at least seem to be working for me.

I've added this

And also the custom component that come with it.

Now with this I could recreate the full schedule for each 7rooms directly in HA.

I added zone.home (presence based on our ohones) and the window contact sensors entities as Conditions directly inside the Scheduler Card for each room. By enabling the option "Re-evaluate when conditions change," the heating reacts instantly. If house goes empty , the condition is met to turn the heating off and use the off schedule (all thermostat at 14degree). If I walk into the house zone, the scheduler sees the change and kicks the heat to the current time-block's temperature immediately, in schedule for each rooms. If a window opens, it pauses and goes back to schedule automatically.

Seem to be working perfectly so far.

Boost can be build with an automation( not done yet)

@array81, not sure if you want to test this schedule solution and somehow link it to your solution or at least let people know that with local tado api, your awesome addon and the schedule card addon tado official is I think no longer needed
