Got my hands on a used Beosound 5, which I think is one of the most beautiful of the Beosounds! I figured out how to connect to the dial via USB and was actually planning to do a custom UI that could run on a hifiberry and connect that to the BS5 control unit.
Then I dived a bit more into the Beocreate platform here and stumbled upon BeocreateConnect/beosound5-test.js.
Did you do any successful integrations? I was thinking to make a local UI that would be "dial-friendly". Maybe a light rewrite of the Beocreate platform could do the trick?
