Feature request: set background color in Prefs ?

Is the background color hardcoded currently ? Is it here:

I'd ideally like to have some white background for my inverted projector.

(I have a workaround which is having a procedural source that return white everywhere, but it's probably using a small amount of ressources)

Yes. That is the place to do it.

Could you try what happens if you hard-code a different color there, and play around a bit? (single vs multiple sources, rotating around z axis a bit to fave some oob pixels in some rendered tiles)

I suspect that it will work with the new "alpha-weighted average" blending.
I'm not sure about the old "sum" AcculumateProjectorFactory, that probably produces some black pixels anyway.

Ah yeah, the old sum projector does not work indeed:

I need to check the new alpha blending. That will probably require some changes for adaptation to ABBA but I'll see what I can do.
