I thought it was supposed to be fixed up in version 2025.9.1 by code owners? but obviously nope...
so are we simply going to have to give up?

would be nice if code owners could respond so we do not wait hoping for a fix... please?

I have the same issue and a randomised build string in X_USER_AGENT that worked fine for issue #149750 longer solves the problem. All entries are unavailable and nothing works. After reauthenticaltion I get the same "HTTPStatusError: Blocked", followed by a retry and finally the same old Failed to set up: Login requires captcha validation.

I fear that a fix would be much harder to develop this time around, I think we all need to go back to lodging actual complaints with BMW.

Probably bimmer_connected needs to switch from the old legacy API to CarData API provided by BMW, which is explictly built for third party usage.

CarData seems to only be available to companies, not individuals. To access it, you need to have a company account in AOS, the after-sales system, which requires registration including VAT number and company details. Or am I missing something?

Nope, I "just" (well, quite hidden) click on "Create CarData client" and have an ID.
It's in on the Mini Connected page -> Choose car -> Car settings -> Mini Car Data -> Technical CarData Access. Then you select which entities that ID may access and you're ready.

What u r saying is exciting, but…. Ive spent hours trying to find the damn button
In Australia, digital access via mini-connected.com.au is already filled in and the car is added on the login with user management, preferences, car configuration, etc.
there is no cardata button… or I am very very very blind…. (Not impossible)
Ive been through all site nooks and corners from account, profile to digital services. Where is it?

ok so my access died 3-4 days ago and I was getting Quota exceded on 0.17.2 despite only asking every 30minutes.
Upgraded to 0.17.3 and instantly I get blocked
Annoying pri.ks at BMW they dont want us to get this data .

Reinstalling worked for me last time but I'm having the same issue. Spent 6 hours trying to get data out of their cardata API with zero success.
