In Configure -> Logs -> DNS, these mean: 🦆 - resolved by System DNS. nb: In Configure -> Logs -> Network, if these same emojis (animals or symbols) appear, they mean different things to what they do for DNS.
Pretty sure there's a thread or two about this on our subreddit r/rethinkdns and one or two issues on GitHub about it.

In Configure -> Logs -> DNS, these mean:
🦆 - resolved by System DNS.
🐇 - resolved over an ODoH proxy or WireGuard/SOCKS5/HTTP proxy or DNSCrypt relay.
🗝️ - not shown, I think.
🐘 - More than 5 (?) answers were returned for a single query.
🚀 - resolved under 10 milliseconds.
🐢 - answer has a very high time-to-live (can be cached for longer, I believe 10 minutes+).
🔷 - resolved by Fallback DNS (default/bootstrap DNS used mostly for Rethink's own queries)
⛅ - resolved by Sky (RDNS+)
🪂 - resolved by Max (RDNS+)
💲 - resolved over metered network (typically, mobile data)
