Hanging with large gRPC response

Describe the bug
Upon making a gRPC request that returns a large response (6 MB), the application hangs with high CPU usage for a long time before the response appears. Once the response eventually appears, attempting to interact with the response body text in the application causes the application to repeatedly hang with high CPU usage.

• OS: Linux (Rocky Linux 9, Xfce)
• Version 0.3.4
