What happened?

While building 1.3.6 for nixpkgs:

____________ ERROR collecting chromadb/test/property/test_schema.py ____________
import file mismatch:
imported module 'test_schema' has this __file__ attribute:
  /build/source/chromadb/test/api/test_schema.py
which is not the same as the test file we want to collect:
  /build/source/chromadb/test/property/test_schema.py
HINT: remove __pycache__ / .pyc files and/or use a unique basename for your test file modules

Chroma 1.3.6, Python 3.13.9 on x86_64-linux

This is a classic import collision— you have multiple files with the same import name.

Easiest fix would be to rename one of the basenames

Yes. The issue is in chromadb having two copies of test_schema.py on different paths. The renaming would have to happen in chromadb's source.
