is "Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 7900 XTX" supported?

When I ran radeontop, I'm getting error/message:

Unknown Radeon card. <= R500 won't work, new cards might.

both when installed from official ubuntu repo, or when using build from git. Is this expected? Is this GPU supported? Node I'm using opensource drivers, due to ubuntu version 24.10 for which proprietary drivers does not exist...

It seems to be a navi31, which is too new, not supported. If you're interested in why, the other issues contain the backstory.

Here's a 'too-new' iGPU of a Ryzen 9700X (RDNA2, which is very much >= R500) pretending to not be supported.
Caveat 1: This is purely cosmetic. I manually added the device definitions ( 0x13c0 / RAPHAEL_MENDOCINO ) to the source code... because my ADHD won't allow me to be satisfied with it saying "UNKNOWN_CHIP".
The stats reported by radeontop here are in agreement with what nvtop also reports under the exact same load.
The workload here is provided by a run(s) of realesrgan-ncnn-vulkan , upscaling some test images.
Caveat 2: FreeBSD is a bit more limited as to what exactly of DRM information is provided back to userland.
However, when I run the exact same workload whilst booted into Linux, both radeontop & nvtop report nearly identically and the same workload(s) completes in the same amount of time, consuming similar power. In other words, accurate enough & operating correctly.
