This is wrong because Mitchell is not a prison ship and it is actually operated by the Liberty Navy

@BerkelmansM darkstat reads its data automatically... from infocards too. There no input that i change anywhere.
I believe for Vanilla files i utilize things copied from this Freelancer installer (recommended by Disco)

I can't change this information since this is what is read from game files already
If you think that https://archive.org/download/Freelancer_201807/Freelancer.iso iso is not vanilla enough, i am open to suggestions which Freelancer ISO i should use for vanilla instead of that one

and/or feel free otherwise to say in which way i should make Vanilla installation

The HD textures are probably not useful here so maybe wait for the planned SDK version FLHDE/freelancer-hd-edition#227

@BerkelmansM hd mod edition is not vanilla due to how many changes it makes
it is fully fledged mod, which is written in their readme as far as i read https://github.com/FLHDE/freelancer-hd-edition/blob/main/README.md

the correct choice to support showing information correctly for hd edition, having separate deployment of darkstat for HD edition purposes

• it can be free of any charge deployment to Github Pages.
  • From your own maintained repo
  • or even from official repo of HD edition https://github.com/FLHDE/freelancer-hd-edition if its maintainers are willing to include such github actions workflow addition
• Alternatively darkstat is possible to host from any type of server too (from linux to others)

So it goes to next choice:

• 1. I am a bit hesitant to maintain my own deployment for HD edition purposes, but i could i guess. i am doubtful about this choice.
• 2. I can show how to make deployment for HD edition on your own at server
• 3. or how to deploy to github pages
  • I estimate github actions workflow for hd edition will look like smth flsr mod already has (https://github.com/darklab8/fl-data-flsr/blob/master/.github/workflows/publish.yaml)

The choice how we handle it varies between basically who will be maintainer of this fork?

• a) only me?
• b) or u are willing to keep track of it when to be updated in time
• c) or HD edition devs are willing to incorporate this workflow to refresh data automatically on their part even into their own repo?

I debugged before Darkstat compatibility with HD Edition, so we are mostly almost there ready to do so.
I would prefer cooperation of HD edition devs towards it. as they would be able to keep up to date on their own
But i am okay if someone else wishes to keep track of such deployment.
I am just not sure if i desire to maintain HD edition darkstat depoyment alone.

To see all data correctly parsed for HD edition purposes :)

I can see to validate that latest HD edition is still locally runnable by darkstat.
it was runnable at least before when i checked it, but may have changed with new hd edition version changes
(darkstat presumes a level of config correctness readability to be present and eager to crash in case catching completely not parsable essential data even once)

if there is no more input onto this, the issue can be closed as not planned feature enhancement

@BerkelmansM there seems to be no movement onto this request (and i am hesitant to ask them about it because i anticipate they could be keeping some grudge against me, due to previously pointed some serious performance/fps related bugs present in HD mod)
I'll close this feature request for now. If u will have HD mod devs approval, we can proceed with it

Oh, they are aware. i did not create issue... it was more discussion in Freelancer starport server 🥲
The issue was in HD edition mod being heavily slow in FPS 10-20 i had with my Intel UHD graphics 630, which is more than enough to play vanilla old freelancer, or Minecraft with 100 of mods, or Fallout 3, or Stellaris
HD edition devs probably have high grade PCs supporting to play at least AA(or even AAA) grade games properly, so they did not see it.
Issues with turned on by default ReShader, and being overheavy on amount of everything else (Reflections or whatever else contributed there). ReShader turned off alone helped fixing FPS to 50, but it was still not smooth 60 FPS as i expected.
TLDR: HD edition mod has some room in performance optimizations imo. and when i was doing research about it and printing freely in Starport Discord, they got offended about my over bluntness during my discoveries 😅
I was debugging this stuff further until the most while i was trying to find any kind of configuration for HD edition to work properly

I am hesitant to communicate with them since that time, since it caused super strong emotional reaction from their main dev (BC46), to the level of swearing spree and rage quit.

I personally ready to work with them further if desired, since i actually already even put effort to make darkstat working for HD edition. but they may have a grudge against me due to those constructive critics being received too emotionally.

I play HD edition mod with standard settings on Radeon Graphics (laptop) and get stable 75 fps on 2k resolution. I only disable enb/Reshade in installer because i do not like bloom. If u get only 20 fps i think something went wrong

Looks like the dev did not deal with it correct way but im sure there are two sides to this story
