Environment Details:

Application Name: Developer balance version .NET 10
OS: iOS
Model Name: iPhone 15
iOS version: 18.5
Screen reader: Voiceover

Repro Steps:

1. Start Voiceover.
2. Open "Developer balance" app.
3. "Home Screen" will open.
4. Swipe till any created project and double tap on it to select.
5. Swipe till "category" and double tap on it. Popup will appear.
6. Observe that Unable to select "Tags" when Voiceover is turned on.

Actual Result:

Unable to select "Tags" when Voiceover is turned on. Navigating to the tags and double-tapping results in a random tag being selected, rather than the intended one.

Expected Result:

User should be able to navigate to all the Tags properly and should be able to select the required tags without any issue. Also, it should be announcing the selected/ not selected state of the tags.

User Impact:

Users will face difficulty is selecting the tags and it may lead to frustration.

This issue has been verified in Visual Studio Code 1.102.1 with MAUI versions 9.0.0 & 9.0.90. It can be reproduced on iOS platform.

I checked the issue in the latest environment. The problem is partially resolved, as we can now select tags when VoiceOver is enabled. However, VoiceOver does not announce whether tags are selected or not. Please find attachment for reference.
