LGTM, but we need to be careful with backporting, as the doc here is for >=6.0.0 (introduced in this PR) and there is different content for <6.0.0, so I suggest this PR is labeled only for 6.0.0 onwards. Then we deal with the older versions, if needed, in a separate PR.
