Show/hide enable/disable controls based on selected options

We have several integrations where we support multiple authentication paths but all configuration options are visible and optional. This makes it confusing for users on which configuration options apply to which authentication method unless they read the description several times. Also, you can add the integration without authenticating. We've encountered several issues and sdhs where we had to guide them through the authentication process.

Can we have an option where we can show/hide or enable/disable configuration options based on a value selected in the dropdown?

Current spec is maybe not ideal, but I think it can already represent this. It will require changes in Kibana in any case.

For example with the definition below, if the user sets aws.credentials.type to assume_role then access_key_id, secret_access_key and aws.account_type could be hidden.

Is there any use case that could not be represented with current spec?

Perhaps a case would be if we want to show a variable depending on the value of another one. This would need changes in the spec, maybe this could be represented like this:
