Live location update failing to update when moving small distances

Steps to reproduce

We noticed that it works perfectly while driving.

The only problem is when you move a little from your previous location (like walking). The automatic change of the live location doesn't work in Element on iOS phones.

Or it's very delayed (more than 5 minutes).

The live location doesn't change even after opening the app and clicking on update.

Linked rageshake logs show issue when walking around 100 meters.

Outcome

What did you expect?

The live location should update as you walk around. Opening the app and clicking update should force an update.

What happened instead?

No change / update to location in live location share.

The issue also occurs with iOS 26 and Synapse version 1.35.0

yes because the accuracy level is set for navigation and hundred meters with distance filter

This behavior is expected. The threshold is 200m. It has been like this for at least 3 years:
