I agree, @dims flagged this. I think we should wait until k/k addresses this, then we can follow the example.

True, I still didn't see a active discussion on this topic in k8s yet. I will be happy to contribute to the issue once we have more clarity.

We shouldn't depend on K8s. Of course, I agree that decision from K8s is a good reference.

Before we find a good alternative, the simplest solution is just to add the source code as a new package of etcd. It isn't urgent task for now. Also refer to https://github.com/ahrtr/gocontainer?tab=readme-ov-file#bTree

We should figure out why the repo is archived first. @serathius is it possible to get some feedback from Google internally directly? Is it due to lack of maintainers or some other reasons?
