How to turn off alt-screen views?

I’ve noticed that the recently released alt-screen has caused quite a few issues. Is there any way to switch back to the original mode?

You can use --no-alt-screen and the choice will be persisted to your .copilot/config.json

@devm33 For example, I run copilot inside vterm [inside emacs]. At least by default, vterm does not capture and support the text stream in alt screen. Which means I cannot scroll back on copilot output inside vterm.

Similar issue with scrolling on my end. I'm using Windows Terminal. Generally I scroll up/down with ctrl+shift+up/down/pageUp/pageDown, but I noticed that that stopped working.

Issue is fixed if I use --no-alt-screen

It seems that the no-alt-screen option is now gone. There is currently no way to scroll properly because of that.

The no-alt-screen option was removed in recent versions, which breaks the copy functionality on macOS when running Copilot on a remote server (ssh). Had to pin version 1.0.11.

I can't copy any text on screen now even on Windows Terminal. Please fix it! PLEASE!
