Highlight lines last modified by a list of users

For instance, if I specify the list as "Tom Smith, Brandon Lee" and open a tree of files in VSCode,
I would like to see all lines last modified by them highlighted in say green color. Ideally in the file tree pane on the left hand side, all folders/files that contain at least one line last modified by them should be highlighted as well. This way I can quickly find out what changes they have made in a given folder.
