Disabling of extensions doesn't work

What happened?

I tried to disable extensions for both workspace and user, but extensions are still active and present in the system prompt.
None of the commands work:

• extensions disable google-workspace --scope workspace
• extensions disable google-workspace --scope user
• extensions disable google-workspace

Extension is still active after command and after restart of gemini-cli.

What did you expect to happen?

I'd expect extension to be disabled, at least after restart of gemini-cli

Clarification: disabling works when invoking in shell gemini extensions disable google-workspace --scope workspace, but not when invoked from the UI itself
