all models quotas exausted with minimal use

What happened?

Today i tried a few small tasks, like just drafting an email or sumarizing a few pages text, and then all models quotas reached 0. Tried in my job and personal accounts with the same result.

What did you expect to happen?

Quota used but not depleted

Not an duplicate, those show available quotas. Here I don't have

I had the same issue yesterday, been using it a decent amount recently and always lasted quite long depending on my use, however yesterday, my quota was completely gone within about an hour, whereas before, I could get ALOT more maybe 10 times that.

Hopefully its just a glitch and not something going forward as it'll make it a little pointless

1000 model requests / user / day
60 model requests / user / minute

I think google have reduced their free tier for gemini cli again, their document still says 1000 req/day.

New finding: Gemini 3 Flash quota usage limit has been greatly reduced. Instead, Google put more req / day (not sure how much) valid only for their newer but less capable model Gemini 3.1 Flash LITE. What a trick.
