Browser agent hits anti-bot protections on Google

What happened?

When gemini CLI uses the browser agent to open a Chrome window and use Google, it hits a block page, e.g. this one. This may because I am using a VPN.

What did you expect to happen?

Gemini should be able to use Google.

Hi 👋, I’m exploring Gemini CLI and I’d like to help troubleshoot this browser agent issue.

It seems like the CLI’s Chrome automation is hitting a Google block page, possibly due to VPN usage or regional restrictions. I’m thinking of investigating:

Adding a note in the docs about potential VPN / regional issues when using the browser agent.
Suggesting a fallback workflow if the Chrome automation is blocked.
