The 'dev' option is for development only. To ensure accurate testing, let's test the 'prod' environment without installing development-specific dependencies.
Let's update both the rootcanal version within the workflow and the version listed in optional-dependencies. However, we should avoid actually installing the optional dependencies during workflow execution.
