I would like to suggest a new project called Google Cardboard+ — an updated and improved version of Google Cardboard for modern smartphones.
Recommended features:
Stronger Material
Replace cardboard with durable plastic for better quality and longer lifespan.
Phone Compatibility
Support all Android devices from 5-inch to 7-inch, including modern models like Samsung Galaxy S25 FE.
Updated Google Cardboard App
Release a new app with better VR optimization and modern Android support.
VR Controller Included
When purchasing Google Cardboard+, include VR controllers in the package.
Expanded App Support
Allow more apps to work in VR mode, such as:
Roblox for Android (with optional VR mode for ages 9+)
YouTube & YouTube Kids
Google Chrome
Gmail, Google Chat
Google Photos
Google Maps (including Street View VR)

Goal

Works fine with the QR code for Google Cardboard 1.0, or Cardboard 2.0.
Only downside with the headset is there are no built in button so you must use a bluetooth controller to click in VR.
