Bulk checkout doesn't check company on checkouts.

superuser can checkout items from CompanyA to users from CompanyB. No error, like in single asset checkout, is shown. Acceptance emails and notifications are sent to user, but user can't see assets in their profile or accept any assets.

Superuser is not constrained by companies. So it is completely valid what you see. Users on the other hand are if don't belong to superusers role.

@tomaszszkudlarek even superuser can't check-out single item from CompanyA to user or asset in CompanyB. You can easily verify that - attempt to checkout item will result in an expected error message.

After checkout via 'Bulk Checkout', user can't accept such items because of

and admins from CompanyA can't see to who item was checked-out - item history and 'Activity report' will be missing entries (because superuser is outside admin's company') and checkout button will be bugged.

Basically, only way to recover such bugged asset, is to use 'Bulk Checkout' and checkout already checked out item to another user or item in CompanyA. (Yes, user without superuser permission can bulk checkout already deployed items.) Actually, with 'Bulk Checkout' you can deploy assets with undeployable status (easily verifiable on demo).

Also, 'Bulk Checkout' allows to checkout already deployed assets - assets just switch ownership, no checkin notifications are being being sent to previous owner.
