Request to Increase 'Purchase Cost' Field Limit (VND)

Problem Description

Hello Development Team,

I'm encountering an issue with the current value limit for the 'Purchase Cost' field. Specifically, when I try to enter a value greater than 10,000,000, the system displays the following error message: "Please enter a value less than or equal to 10000000."

Context

Our system currently uses VND (Vietnamese Dong) as the primary currency. Due to the nature of the Vietnamese market, some asset items can have real-world purchase costs that easily amount to hundreds of millions or even billions of VND.

My current Snipe-IT version is: v8.3.1 - build 19577 (master)

Impact

The current limit of 10,000,000 VND is causing significant difficulties in accurately recording purchase costs for high-value assets, leading to:

• Inability to input the correct actual transaction value.
• The need to "work around" or split transactions, leading to data inaccuracies and complicating our asset management processes.

Proposed Solution

I propose increasing the maximum limit for the 'Purchase Cost' field to accommodate VND currency and larger transaction values.

For example, potential limits to consider could be:

• 1,000,000,000 (One billion VND)
• Or a higher value if even larger transactions are anticipated.

I hope this issue can be reviewed and prioritized to improve our asset management efficiency.
