These changes work fine on my Apple Silicon (M1) machine.
I met this problem and I had to fix it in order to do my task.
The reason for the problem is that the toolchain is incorrect here:
rustup component add rust-src --toolchain nightly-2022-04-20-x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu
