Is it possible to do hardware accelerated interpolation on a strean

I am trying to find a solution for doing video interpolation on a stream. Can be udp stream or rtmp? Is this possible do this with rife?

I have the same question, but I'm wondering if it could be done real-time on your entire screen output? Watching full-screen streaming video from online services is a bit twitchy sometimes.
