I did a test run of Plummet, the Roughtime interoperability tester, earlier today. I am happy to report that the Roughenough client was compatible with all tested servers except Cloudflare's. (This may not be due to an issue with Roughenough.)
The Roughenough server, on the other hand, was only able to interoperate with the Roughenough client. Other clients receive no response to their requests. I think this may be due to some minor issue with how Roughenough interprets requests. I am attaching the output from Plummet here, which shows the output of all servers and clients, as well as the contents of all captured Roughtime packets.
For example, the request sent by Pyroughtime that received no response contained the following tags:
VER ( 4) Val: 2147483660 (0x8000000c)
SRV ( 32) Val: cdcfa4e8234b5404316d22e413f8b581602af2ed127317f5c15e26ee4e751254
NONC ( 32) Val: fa9dae125d906b1b726c84b11f77263201c27951d011d34a721004dc8608abe5
TYPE ( 4) Val: 0 (0x0)
ZZZZ (912) Val: [all zeros]
I have also verified that Pyroughtime receives no response from roughtime.int08h.com either.
