Modbus Config is used to configure the MODBUS-RT interface.

  • Short Description: MODBUS-RT config
  • Long Description: Configuration for MODBUS-RT client interface settings.
  • Menu Path: Peripherals > MODBUS Client > Modbus Config
Name ID Description
bus_id ERT1_ID = 1 Bus ID for the MODBUS communication.
master ERT1_ID = 2 Whether MODBUS is in Master mode.
data_mode ERT1_ID = 3 Whether MODBUS is in RTU, ASCII or TCP/IP mode. 0 if RTU, 1 if ASCII, 2 if TCP/IP.
port_id ERT1_ID = 4 The port ID of the MODBUS interface.
ip ERT1_ID = 5 The target IP if in TCP/IP mode.
cert ERT1_ID = 6 The certificate filename of the MODBUS TCP/IP communication.
Port Type Description
Enable Event Enable the MODBUS configuration.
Disable Event Disable the MODBUS configuration.
IP Data IP address input for MODBUS configuration.
Port Data Port number input for MODBUS configuration.
Cert Data Certificate input for secure communication.
Bus_ID Data Bus ID input for MODBUS communication.
Errno Data Error number output from MODBUS operations.
