Glabels unable to open any files (Not a supported file format)

Hi! from GLabels, i am unable to open any .glabels or .tsv/.csv or any types of files. It will show error: Could not open file, Not a supported file format.

It was working a week ago.

I have tried to create a new document within Glabels app, saved it, reopened the file but still showing the same error.

I have tested on several other folk's computers and we all faced the same issue. We have projects that are time sensitive and dependent on Glabels.

Are we able to resolve this as soon as possible please?

You don't say what version you are using. Assuming your talking about the legacy gtk version, this is a duplicate of #239. If so, glabels files are gzipped xml files. The latest version of libxml2, in the infinite wisdom of its developers, no longer automatically unzips the files. A work around is to manually gunzip your existing .glabels files. E.g.:

$ cat foo.glabels | gunzip -c > foo2.glabels
