Make message content available to build job

Thanks for this nice and handy plugin.

We use the SQS trigger part only.

Is there any way to make the content of the message accessible or available to the build job? As an environment variable etc .. ?

This feature would be very handy for me too... Also a way to notify an SQS queue on success / failure of a build in post build actions...

It appears the plugin does try to pass parameters to the build by default, but you need to enable parameterization explicitly for the parameters you want (it appears this is a by-design security feature). The list of parameters the SQS plugin tries to set includes: sqs_body, sqs_messageId, sqs_receiptHandle, and sqs_bodyMD5.

To allow sqs_body to be passed to your build/build script:

1. open your project configuration
2. under 'General', make sure the 'This project is parameterized' checkbox is checked (see image below)
3. select 'Add a Parameter'->'String Parameter'
4. set the parameter name to sqs_body (you can also set a default value if you like)
5. Save the project and run.

Now sqs_body will be available as an environment variable for your build.
