Syncing account doesn't sync categories

Describe the bug
Syncing account doesn't sync Categories.

A clear and concise description of what the bug is.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. On mobile web, set several categories while not signed in.
2. Signed into Kagi using my github account on mobile and desktop web.
3. On desktop web, look which categories are active

Actual behavior
The default categories show on desktop web.

Expected behavior
My custom categories visible on desktop web.

It's a bit confusing how syncing works. There's no explanation. Do I need a kagi account? If not, how does kagi news know which devices are mine?
