[BUG] (Mac) Crashes randomly + Quitting registers as a crash

"Crashes randomly": CrossOver literally crashes randomly during use. There is no specific trigger for it, it can crash even when I'm just leaving it there (However it needs to be locked in to crash). For the record, random crashing occurs anywhere between 2 minutes 10 hours with the app open. When crashing, it will disappear suddenly and unnoticeably, and anywhere around instantly to 20 seconds later, Mac console will pop up to tell me that it crashed. The app can be reopened normally afterwards.
This is especially annoying when I'm in a fight and my crosshair disappears, and then 10 secs later a big pop-up rips away the app focus.

Whenever the app is quitted, either by Force Quitting, unlocking and then CMD+Q, or quitting through the screen top bar option, around half of the time, Mac will output a crash log after a few seconds.

3. Wait (Casually use your computer and wait for the impending doom)
4. Crashes (and ruins your match)
   or: 1. Open CrossOver
5. CMD+Q
6. Gives a crash log a few seconds later

• CrossOver Version 3.3.4
  (Newest version doesn't overlay other apps for me)

(This has happened to me a few hundred times at least over 3 years, but I never reported it because I thought it might be my hardware problem with a 2019 Macbook. Today it crashed at a very bad timing though.)

The random crashes while locked are likely related to the IOHook input listener (which is active when CrossOver is locked). The quit-registers-as-crash issue is a known Electron behavior where force-quitting an always-on-top transparent window doesn't go through the normal shutdown path.

Both of these should be resolved in the upcoming v4 release, which uses a newer version of the input hook library with better stability. For now, the best workaround is to unlock CrossOver before quitting (use your lock keybind first, then quit from the tray).
