Not sure if this is one of the things you mentioned here #4 that you decided to not do, if so you can close this issue. Since I do care about this feature, I decided to create a separate issue for it.
Because there are global shortcuts, the menu/control bar is not continuously needed. I'd really like to be able to hide the menu/control bar completely from my screen (I now know about right-clicking the hat icon, but that still leaves the menu on screen). Of course, there should be a way to get it back when you hide it. An obvious way for this would be to have the application show up in the system tray, from which you could access the menu/control bar with a right/left-click on the icon. Also, being able to terminate the application from there would be useful.
