[Bug]: Podcasts is unable to outline and transcript

What did you do when it broke?

I correctly configured the models, however, when it says processing is complete, there is no play button or anything else. I checked the details and it shows that the outline and transcript are unavailable

hi, this exact issue happens to me. I use openai-compatible models and I dont see any problem in my log files

not sure if helpful - but when using openai models (and not compatible api) it seems to work.

@razhoshia-nomos, same here. I don't see any log related to the podcast generation failed.

Related: podcast-creator#25 — tracks adding tenacity retry logic to podcast-creator for transient failures.

Additionally, we're working on better error handling on the open-notebook side to surface failures in the UI and allow retrying.

This has been fixed as of the latest release, 1.7.3. We fixed output for Gemini, improved it for all other providers too. We also added a retry mechanism to try 3 times before failing. Also, the UI now shows the failed episodes correctly and provides a retry button. Please update your docker image and let me know if it works for you now. Thanks!
