Obsidian-jump completion behavior is inconsistent with built-in minibuffer tools

I have a file called Home.md in my Obsidian vault, and when I write hom RET into obsidian-jump, my Emacs minibuffer muscle memory expects it to autocomplete the name and take me to the file, like in bookmark-jump and execute-extended-command. Instead it just gives an error, because it expects me to use TAB completion before RET.
This seems like an intentional choice, and one that is not wrong by any means, just, in my eyes, unnecessarily different. Would you consider changing this to match the default behavior, or making it configurable with a setting?

I use vertico+orderless, and this behavior is similar in all minibuffer menus.

What is the "default" behavior you're talking about? By default emacs does tab completion.

I don't think I use anything that affects the mini buffer other than which-key, but just to be sure I just ran the same tests with config disabled via emacs -q and got the same results. I agree that Emacs does do TAB completion, but it also does RET completion, instead of giving a "bookmark/command not found" error. If it's working on your end, I'll try those plug-ins and see if they help.
