Find by typing does not work in tabs opened via middle click in some cases

Bug description

The type to search feature does not activate if in a new tab if it is opened in Nemo by using the middle click on a folder or on part of a path in the navigation bar and then the user switches to the new tab using ctrl+PgDn.

This does not occur if the search box is already open from typing to find files in another open tab in the same window.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open Nemo
2. Right click on a folder so that it opens in a new, background tab
3. Press ctrl + PgDn to switch to new tab
4. Begin typing to try to activate type to find feature
5. Note that the type to find feature does not activate

Expected behavior

Type to find should activate and work in new tab after switching to it

Additional information

While trying to narrow down what was triggering this, I noticed that the type-to-find box doesn't seem to clear out when switching between tabs
