Hey, I'm interested in where this has gotten to. Seems like it's the basis for some kind of crypto-native Weir clearinghouse, or did I misunderstand it?

Hey @chrishobcroft, this feature has been shipped by @j0sh and @eliteprox already. @eliteprox already has a hosted payment clearinghouse which you could use to prototype things. They also have a python SDK which you can use to use the network directly https://github.com/livepeer/livepeer-python-gateway. We don't have a javascvript SDK yet.
