DocHub is a hackathon demo that shows how micropayments with the x402 protocol can enable a simple pay-per-credential issuance model.
The idea is to showcase a future where people can pay a small amount to receive an issued credential—like a digital ID, proof of credit score, or similar. It also supports an agent-driven workflow: for example, AI agents managing a user’s portfolio could request credentials on the user’s behalf and pay issuers for them (e.g., purchasing a credit-score credential needed to apply for a loan, then continuing to manage the user’s positions).

- Not production-ready (no security hardening, no audits, no guarantees)
